1. Lifting & Rigging Safety

Lifting operations can expose workers to suspended loads, dropped objects, equipment failure and crushing hazards. Safe lifting depends on appropriate equipment selection, inspection, load control and communication.

Our Lifting & Rigging Safety training develops practical awareness of rigging principles and the controls required during load handling.

Training Covers

Participants will explore:

Learning Outcomes

By the end of the training, participants should be able to:

Customised Corporate Training

Training can incorporate the lifting accessories, typical loads and lifting arrangements used by the organisation.

2. Permit to Work (PTW)

A Permit to Work system provides formal control over non-routine and high-risk work. Its effectiveness depends on accurate hazard identification, clear responsibilities, proper authorisation and communication between everyone involved.

Our Permit to Work training develops practical understanding of how permits should be prepared, issued, accepted, monitored and safely closed.

Training Coverage

Participants will explore:

Learning Outcomes

By the end of the training, participants should be able to:

Customised Corporate Training

This programme can be customised around the client’s actual permit forms, approval workflow, terminology and site procedures.

3. Confined Space Safety

A confined space may appear harmless from outside while containing an atmosphere or process hazard capable of becoming fatal within a short period. Restricted access can also make normal escape and rescue much more difficult.

Confined Space Safety training examines the conditions that must be assessed before entry and the controls required while work is in progress.

Training Coverage

Participants will explore:

Learning Outcomes

Participants should be able to recognise confined-space hazards, understand the importance of atmospheric testing and isolation and explain why an effective rescue arrangement is required before entry.

Customised Corporate Training

The programme can be adapted around the chemicals, SDS documentation, storage arrangements and emergency procedures used at your workplace.

4. Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) & Energy Isolation

A machine that has stopped moving is not necessarily safe to work on. Electrical supplies, pressure, gravity, heat, hydraulic systems, compressed air and other forms of stored energy may remain capable of causing serious harm.

LOTO & Energy Isolation training explains how hazardous energy should be identified and controlled before cleaning, maintenance, adjustment or repair work begins.

Training Coverage

Participants will explore:

Learning Outcomes

Participants should be able to identify hazardous-energy sources, understand the sequence of an effective isolation and appreciate why verification and controlled reinstatement are essential.
