The EOSH UK Level 2 Award in Lifting & Rigging Safety is designed to provide learners with a practical understanding of safe lifting and rigging activities. The course covers lifting equipment, lifting accessories, rigging techniques, inspection, load calculation, centre of gravity, communication signals, risk assessment and emergency procedures. It is suitable for workplaces where lifting operations are carried out using cranes, hoists, slings, shackles and other lifting equipment.

This qualification is evaluated using assessments and Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQ). To receive this qualification, the learner must pass both tests with a certain percentage.
